My name is Miss Evangeline (Evie) Gray. I completed my degree from the University of Notre-Dame Australia, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Primary Education specialising in Mathematics. I am thrilled to be one of the new teachers at St Mary’s. I am very excited for a successful and fun year ahead in Kindergarten and Year 1. I can’t wait to see our growth in everything we accomplish! We will be spending lots of time together and becoming a family, and it’s important that we treat our family with respect, kindness and compassion.
I am moving to Hay from Sydney, and I have been fostering a guide dog puppy. After doing my internship at Broken Hill, I knew I wanted to go rural again. I am a lifelong learner, and I love to stay active. Back in Sydney, I did touch footy, netball and basketball (some on the same night!). I am very keen to be active again, join the sporting community, and even try some new sports! I was born in Australia; however, I also did some years of education in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. I like to be in nature, paint, get creative, surround myself with great friends and collect cool, funky earrings!
I am looking forward to working together as part of a team and getting to know everyone in the community.
