“Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten!”
Lilo and Stitch

About me: I was born and raised in Hay. I went to school at St Mary’s and then began my teaching career in 1995 at this very primary school! My husband is also a teacher and we have two children.

When asked what is special about St Mary’s, I always reply that we are like a family, where everyone watches out for each other. I love reading, gardening, sewing and hate cooking! I have a passion for travel, architecture and theme parks, especially Disneyland!

My Favourite Saint: St Mary of the Cross MacKillop – her message: “Never see a need without doing something about it” reminds me of our school motto – “Deeds, not words only”

My Favourite Book: The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

My Favourite Activity: Spending time exploring new places with my family.
