Religious Education is at the heart of Catholic education. It informs all aspects of school life and contributes to the mission of the Catholic Church in announcing the good news of Jesus Christ.
All students participate in the religious life of the school. This includes their participation in the Educating in Christ program which is the foundation of our Religious Education at St Mary’s.
At St Mary’s School, Hay, our faith is expressed in a variety of ways:
- Our Religious Education Program
- School and Class Liturgies and Eucharistic Celebrations
- Staff, School, Class an Individual Prayer
- Support of the Parish Sacramental Program
- Outreach Programs within the school and wider community
- Nurturing positive relationships and integrating our Positive Education Program with our Religious Education Program.
